|A very good day
for a very silly dog!!
I haven’t posted since August. I haven’t crafted much either. Harvey has been sick a lot for the past many months and most of August and September I have taken him to the vet 2-3 times a week. We got his tummy issues solved with a new diet of potato and turkey, he is extremely happy about that. His diabetes is still uncontrolled but getting much better. We have actually been able to lower his dose of insulin this week. Brett and I nearly pounced on him on Sunday when we caught him rooting around in his toy basket. He hasn’t wanted to play in quite some time.
|Got up too early!
Harvey will be having cataract surgery on October 3rd. We can’t really wait as the cataracts are causing other serious issues because they formed so quickly. We have a great eye doctor here and I know they will take great care of him. It’s funny and sad to watch him walk into things. He has most areas figured out but for some reason he continues to run into the poop bucket when he is outside. He has been attacked by a rose bush, a spruce, a clematis, flower pots and drip lines. He is OVER IT!!! Please send a little prayer for him if you can spare it.
I did do one craft project. My cousin’s birthday was this month so I made her a card. It was the first time I sketched out the card before making it and I think it turned out pretty well. I did forget to put some blue sky behind the window but there was a lot going on on that card. I had fun making fringe on the rug by running embroidery floss across the back and then trimming it and picking the threads apart. I think it turned out kind of cute. I did by a drawing notebook for future card layout sketches. This should enhance my work process and be fun.
Have a great day!
