Ellie’s Sew Sweet Clam Class

Join Ellie as she shows you how to master sewing the class clam shell pouch. She has a great method to deal with a zipper on a curve and can’t wait to teach it to you.
During class we will use a template to cut the fabric and then you will quilt it during class. Then you will attach the zipper and you can enjoy using your pouch immediately!
Bring your own sewing machine, basic notions, and the following:
- 1/4 yd exterior fabric
- one fat quarter interior fabric
- one fat quarter exterior fabric
- 18″x21″ fusible foam or fusible fleece
- coordinating thread
- 24″ handbag zipper with double pulls OR zipper by the yard with 2 pulls.
- rotary cutter
- clips (these work better than pins)
Optional:
- zipper foot
- walking foot
- 1/2″ swivel hook
- narrow double sided tape or fabric glue
