Pumpkin Placemats

In this class we will learn how to make adorable pumpkin placemats. It’s a great opportunity to use up a bunch of different oranges in your fabric stash! Make 1 or make more – it’s up to you. No pre-work or cutting is required. Sew at your pace – we are open until 6p.
Class Supplies:
- Bring your sewing machine (don’t forget the power cords and foot pedal) along with thread and bobbins
- Sewing notions such as scissors, needle threaders, etc.
- Optional: free motion quilting foot
Fabric Supplies for 1 placemat:
- 3″x3″ brown fabric for the pumpkin stem
- 6″x3″ green fabric for the leaf
- 6″x12″ orange fabric (1 of 3)
- 11″x18″ orange fabric (2 of 3) (fat eighth quarter)
- 11″x18″ orange fabric (3 of 3) (fat eighth quarter)
- 11″x18″ Neutral background fabric (fat eighth quarter)
- 22″x18″ for backing and binding (fat quarter)
- 22″x18″ one-sided fusible fleece (fat quarter)
- thread: orange, green, brown, and a spool that matches your backing/binding fabric
