I love a tote that doesn’t spill out everything if it falls over! This Redwood Tote from Noodlehead is sturdy with a great strap, exterior pocket that zips closed and internal slip pockets.
Enjoy a project with clear instructions! We’ll walk you through it all.
Supplies (based on 44″ wide fabric):
- 1/2 yd exterior fabric (canvas or cork are good choices)
- 1/3 yd accent fabric (handles and strap)
- 1 yd lining fabric (cotton is best)
- Fusible woven interfacing (pellon SF101 20″ wide) 2 1/2 yds
- 6″ zipper for front pocket
- 12″ zipper for top closure
- Two 1″ D-rings
- Two 1″ swivel clasps
- One 1″ strap slider
- 4 metal Chicago Screws (that match the metal on the zipper)
- 2″x11″ heavyweight interfacing for reinforced base (pellon peltex 72F or equivalent)
Bring your sewing machine with basic notions. Recommended additional supplies:
- marking pen or tailors chalk
- sewing needle for denim weight fabric
